Beneficiary
The person on whose behalf an immigration petition is filed.
In immigration terminology, the beneficiary is the foreign national for whom a petition is filed. A U.S. citizen filing I-130 for their spouse is the petitioner; the spouse is the beneficiary. A derivative beneficiary is a spouse or child accompanying the principal beneficiary.
