Nonimmigrant status for spouses and unmarried children under 21 of H-1B workers.
H-4 dependents may live, study, and (in certain cases — H-4 EAD program) work in the U.S. H-4 EAD eligibility requires the principal H-1B worker to have an approved I-140 or to be in extended status under AC21.
