The DOJ agency that operates the immigration courts and Board of Immigration Appeals.
EOIR adjudicates removal proceedings, asylum cases in immigration court, and appeals from immigration judge decisions. Its rulings determine whether a noncitizen can be removed or granted relief from removal.
