Affidavit of Support Under Section 213A of the INA.

I-864 is the legally enforceable affidavit of support filed by the U.S. sponsor in family-based cases. The sponsor commits to maintaining the immigrant at 125% of the federal poverty guidelines until naturalization, 40 quarters of work history, or departure.
