INA §245(k)
A provision letting certain employment-based applicants forgive short status violations.
INA §245(k) allows EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, and EB-4 (some) adjustment applicants to overcome up to 180 days of unlawful presence, unauthorized employment, or status violations since their last admission.
